Inspired by one of those songs that somehow never gets old, Stand By Me is about love, loyalty, and the comfort of knowing someone is there.

I wanted the painting to feel joyful and nostalgic, with bold colour, movement, and shapes that seem to weave in and out of one another. There’s a rhythm to it that reminds me of music—different pieces coming together, overlapping, and finding their place.

For me, it’s a painting about connection. About the people who stand beside us through all of it.
