Jennifer studied photography at the Nova Scotia Community College before beginning her career as a corporate and industrial photographer, photographing inside mines, refineries, and other industrial environments—experiences that sharpened her eye for structure, light, scale, and the unexpected beauty found in working landscapes. She later worked in the film industry as a video producer with Hemmings House Pictures.

Her work eventually shifted toward fine art photography, allowing her to explore a more personal and intuitive visual language. That evolution led Jennifer to renovate a heritage building and open Paris Crew, a fine art gallery where she represented a roster of other Canadian artists. The gallery became an extension of her own creative life—a place devoted to art, artists, and the experience of living with original work.

Today, Jennifer works from her renovated studio in the hayloft of a horse barn, surrounded by gardens and nature at her family farm. It is here that her different creative worlds come together. Her practice now moves fluidly between painting and photography, informed by years spent observing light, composition, colour, landscape, and the quiet details of everyday life.

Outside the studio, Jennifer is rarely far from something creative. She is a beekeeper, songwriter, classical guitar player, film photography enthusiast, gardener, and traveller. These interests continually find their way back into her work, whether through the geometry and repetition of the natural world, the nostalgia of film, the rhythm of music, or the colours and textures discovered while travelling.

At the centre of it all is family. Jennifer lives with her husband, David, and their three wonderfully wild boys. Their home, gardens, animals, and the landscape surrounding her studio are an ongoing source of inspiration—and a reminder that creativity is not separate from life, but woven through it.
